Welcome to the website of the Singapore Book Publishers Association (SBPA). Whether you are already a member or interested in joining the SBPA, we hope you will find what you are looking for here. This website introduces you to the activities of the SBPA and to forthcoming events in the region; it showcases books recently launched by our members, awards won and offers useful industry resource links for members as well as jobs currently available in the publishing industry in Singapore.
As of 1 January 2009, the SBPA has over 70 members engaged in a wide range of publishing, marketing and distribution activities in Singapore. These are in the areas of educational textbooks, children's books, general and trade books, academic and scholarly publications, reference materials and some electronic publications.
The SBPA aims to provide its members with information and advice to help them succeed in business. We represent members at book fairs throughout ASEAN and further afield. It is also our aim to provide a friendly community in which Singapore-based publishers and related industry partners can pool knowledge and experiences.
In mid 2008, the SBPA celebrated its 40th anniversary and a forum and celebratory dinner were held. There has never been a better time to join SBPA and benefit from being part of the vibrant publishing industry in Singapore!
